Former MP Manit Pavasuthi was joined by mayors of Bang Sai and Nong Mai sub-districts and former Chonburi council members Jan. 9 to bring items donated by the public to Pol. Gen. Angoon Pooncharoen, deputy commander of Provincial Police Region 2.

The items included drinking water, instant noodles, dried food, sanitary pads and diapers, as well as 85,020 baht cash.

Thailand’s South has been hit hard by flooding, with many roads becoming impassable and residents left stranded in their homes. (CPRD)
