Chonburi held a merit-making ceremony to commemorate the 60th birthday of HRH Princess Chulabhorn.

Gov. Pakarathorn Thienchai led the July 4 “tak baht” ceremony at Chonburi City Hall.

He and his wife Supaporn led police, military, civil servants, students, vendors and residents in honoring Princess Chulabhorn by offering alms and donations to local temples as well as collecting funds for charities.

Princess Chulabhorn was born July 4, 1957, the youngest daughter of HM the late King Bhumibol Adulyadej and Queen Sirikit. Her full Thai title is Somdet Phrachao Luk Thoe Chaofa Chulabhorn Valayalaksana Agrarajakumari.
