Phakhornthorn discussed water supply problems and outlined the proposal to deepen the lake in order to hold more hard water. Mabprachan was built in 1980 and holds 16.6 million cu. meters of water and can supply 1.5 million cu. meters of water per hour.

Kittiratt said the proposal held enough merit for him to present to Prime Minister Yingluck Shinawatra for funding consideration when preparing next year’s budget.
