Bangkok Bank will discontinue Bualuang iBanking internet banking from December 15, 2026, advising customers to switch to its Mobile Banking app.

BANGKOK, Thailand – Bangkok Bank will discontinue its Bualuang iBanking internet banking service from December 15, 2026, and is advising customers to switch to the Bangkok Bank Mobile Banking app. The bank said Bualuang iBanking has limitations that prevent it from fully developing new features and enhancing security, leading to the decision to end the service. Customers will continue to access banking services through other Bangkok Bank channels, particularly Mobile Banking.

The bank’s Mobile Banking app supports services including money transfers, bill payments, QR Code payments, cardless ATM withdrawals, scheduled transactions and account lock or unlock functions. Customers should note that the scheduled transaction service on Bualuang iBanking will end from November 1, 2026. Scheduled transfers or payments set to take effect from December 15 onward will be automatically cancelled. Bangkok Bank advises customers to set up those transactions again through Mobile Banking to avoid missed payments or transfers.

How customers can switch

Customers who have previously used Bangkok Bank Mobile Banking can reactivate the app using their existing Mobile PIN. Those who have forgotten their PIN can use their debit card number and PIN, or visit a Bangkok Bank branch or ATM to request a temporary PIN.

Customers who have never used the Mobile Banking app can register using a Bangkok Bank debit or credit card, or visit a branch or ATM to request a temporary PIN. If their personal information is not up to date, Thai customers should bring their ID card, while foreign customers should bring their passport to a Bangkok Bank branch for identity verification.

Bangkok Bank also advises foreign customers who are overseas and currently rely only on iBanking that the service will remain available until December 14, 2026, Thailand time. After that, Mobile Banking will be required for online banking transactions. Customers can still check account balances and transaction history through the bank’s call centre, subject to identity verification.

Customers with questions can contact Bangkok Bank at 1333 or visit a branch.
