Pattaya’s acting police chief lectured officers about ethics while handing down directives for protecting tourists and suppressing crime.

Col. Chatchawan Pisuthwong and top lieutenants laid out policies on morality and service at a May 14 assembly at the Cesar’s Palace Hotel. Topping that list was protecting tourists and suppressing drugs.

A monk from Chaimongkol temple also preached and prayed for the officers’ good fortunes before attendees made merit by offering robes and necessities.
