A 6-year-old girl escaped serious injury after getting her leg stuck in a grated drain cover.
Mint Namsommutti suffered only scratches and bruises after her little foot slipped through the iron bars of the grate at the Banglamung Isuzu car-service center March 21.
More scared than hurt, the girl tried to wriggle free, but needed a rescue crew to spread the bars to extricate her knee.
She was sent to Banglamung Hospital for a checkup, but doctors found no broken bones or serious injury.
