PATTAYA, Thailand – Pattaya City Police Station is becoming an unlikely stopover for lost dogs, after officers recently reunited a Siberian Husky with its owner and now find themselves caring for a tiny Pomeranian. The latest four-legged visitor was found by a good Samaritan near Soi 13 on Pattaya Beach Road and brought to the station, where police agreed to look after it temporarily while searching for its owner. The Pomeranian has quickly become a familiar sight around the station, wandering among officers and winning over members of the public who come in to conduct official business.
Police Chief Pol Col Anek Srathongyu and his driver, who also helped care for the lost Husky “Chiel,” have once again found themselves taking on the role of temporary dog carers, alongside the station’s public relations officer. With the Pomeranian now safely in police care, officers are appealing to its owner to come forward. Anyone who recognises the dog can contact Pattaya City Police Station to arrange its return.
