3 teens arrested for stabbing, robbery of Russian tourist

Three teenagers have been arrested for the knifing and robbery of a Russian tourist.

Jenniya Nikilina, 25, was stabbed in the arm and her belongings stolen Oct. 22 on Soi Chaiyapruek near Muangmai Village.

Yossakorn Prempree, 18, and two boys ages 16 and 17 were apprehended Oct. 26 in separate arrests in South Pattaya and Naklua. The knife believed to have been used in the attack plus the victim’s digital camera, telephone and cash were recovered.

Police alleged the 16-year-old attacker was the ringleader for the group. An orphan who fled from a boys home in Bangkok, he was recently released from jail for a similar robbery. Yossakorn also recently was released after serving a term for motorbike theft.
