10th Honda LPGA Thailand kicks off in traditional Thai style

Six world-class and leading lady golfers joined a press conference at the Dusit Thani Pattaya on Feb. 23 to announce the 10th anniversary Honda LPGA Thailand 2016 ladies golf tournament.  The golfers, who included Thailand’s Pornanong Phatlum along with Anna Nordqvist from Sweden, Amy Yang and Chun In-gee from Korea, Japan’s Ai Miyazato and Charley Hull from England were all dressed in traditional Thai outfits for the occasion.

The ladies joined for a photo with Plakorn Somsuwan, managing director of Channel 7 TV, Nakanishi Gaku, president and CEO of Honda Automobiles Thailand, Phitak Pluesatisarikorn and Noriaki Abe.

The Honda LPGA Thailand 2016 is currently taking place from February 25-28 at Siam Country Club Old Course in Pattaya.  Most of the top 70 professional female golfers from around the globe are participating in the event.
