Mitsubishi Motors Thailand wrapped up the recent 35th Thailand International Motor Expo 2018 in Bangkok with a total of 3,619 bookings, an increase of 60 percent from the same event last year. Pickup enthusiasts’ sentiment towards the new Mitsubishi Triton helped propel the brand’s bookings and upwards annual sales volume.

“Our customers and visitors to our booth continue to be excited with our products, especially with the new Mitsubishi Triton and the all-new Mitsubishi XPANDER. Our commitment in after-sales services with the slogan of ‘We take care, you just drive’ also generated a lot of interests as it reaffirmed our commitment to customer satisfaction,” said Morikazu Chokki, President and CEO, Mitsubishi Motors (Thailand) Co., Ltd.

“We are pleased with the booking achievement and are committed to use this momentum to drive for our sustainable growth,” added Chokki.

The newly-launched Mitsubishi Triton was very well-received, achieving a total booking of more than 4,000 units in the short span since its availability at outlets nationwide in November 17, 2018.

According to the manufacturer, the new pickup features “a more powerful styling that incorporates advanced ‘Dynamic Shield’ front design concept, an enhanced Super Select 4WD-II with improved on- and off-road performance, and the latest active safety and driver assistance systems. There is also overall improvement and significant refinements to driving dynamics sought by pickup enthusiasts.”

At the other end of the spectrum, Mitsubishi also showcased the Mitsubishi Pajero Sport Elite Edition designed to inspire individual success. It is available in two colors – Jet Black Mica and White Pearl, and comes with a long list of premium accessories and features that take luxury and comfort to new levels.

Interest in the Pajero Sport Elite Edition was also positive, with the special-edition model raking up more than 900 bookings.

Prices for New Mitsubishi Triton starts at THB654,000 while Mitsubishi Pajero Sport Limited Edition will be available from THB1,459,000.
