Re: Mayor leads Pattaya officials in cleaning up Walking Street (PM Friday, 17 April 2015) – What a show and photo-op. Have they never heard of having machines to scrub footpaths? Then again, maybe city hall has purchased scrubbing machines in the past. I recall seeing several small road/footpath sweeper machines in use at Jomtien Beach many, many years ago – were around for about 6 months and never saw again. I also recall a photo of a beach cleaning machine in use at Pattaya beach many years ago, but never seen since. Pattaya City Hall has bought much equipment in the past to assist cleaning, etc., but it all seems to disappear after a short time.
