PATTAYA, Thailand – Mayor Poramet Ngampichet attended the annual meeting of the Pattaya-Chonburi Business and Tourism Association (PCBTA) at the Sabai Sabana Hotel. As the chief advisor to the association, the mayor joined city officials, public and private sector representatives, and stakeholders to review progress and discuss strategies to improve Pattaya’s economy and tourism.

The meeting, chaired by the PCBTA President, included updates on ongoing projects and a dedicated session for members to voice their concerns and recommendations. The mayor listened closely to the feedback, reaffirming the city’s commitment to collaboration with the business community to tackle issues and build a more resilient, thriving urban environment.



In line with the city’s “Better Pattaya” policy, the mayor emphasized the importance of environmental responsibility, particularly proper waste separation, as a foundation for sustainable development. He called on all residents and businesses to participate in cultivating eco-conscious habits that will lead to long-term improvements in public services, economic vitality, and tourism confidence.

The session underscored the pivotal role of business associations in acting as a bridge between the private sector and city administration—ensuring that local voices are heard and that solutions are implemented collaboratively. As Pattaya continues to evolve, the mayor highlighted the importance of unity and sustained momentum in shaping a cleaner, smarter, and more welcoming city.
