PATTAYA, Thailand – Pol. Col. Anek Sarathongyu, Superintendent of Pattaya City Police Station, has assigned Pol. Lt. Col. Siriwat Kachamat, Deputy Superintendent of Operations, and Pol. Lt. Col. Suchart Dusadee, Inspector of Patrol, to inspect the ongoing upgrades at the Koh Larn police post. They were welcomed by Pol. Maj. Col. Chayaphon Yurrod, the head of the post, who reported on the progress.
The visit aimed not only to assess readiness and discipline but also marked the official launch of a new police uniform for officers stationed at Koh Larn. The uniform includes a white polo shirt with a clear “POLICE” insignia, a black cap, and dark trousers—designed to be both modern and approachable, reflecting a friendly image to both locals and tourists.
A key improvement is that residents and tourists can now file complaints or police reports directly at the Koh Larn post—eliminating the need to travel back to Pattaya City Police Station as in the past. This upgrade represents a major step forward in convenience and community accessibility.
The renovation enhances public service delivery—making police assistance faster, simpler, and closer—and reinforces confidence in local law enforcement for both residents and visitors on this nationally renowned island destination.
This transformation aligns with the Royal Thai Police’s mission to serve as a “Police for the People,” reflecting the vision of Police General Kitirat Phanphet, Commissioner-General of the Royal Thai Police, who emphasizes building a professional force grounded in honesty, transparency, and public trust.
