Makro Pattaya helped its food market customers boost sales and customer service with a three-day “grocery market roaming” event at the bulk-products outlet.
The June 24-26 event marked the fifth year Siam Makro Co. hosted its “good friend” workshop to aid food and retail outlets, which make up the bulk of Makro’s customer base, improve their prospects.
Well-known brands re-introduce their products straight from the production factory.
Lectures covered grocery-store operations and seminars on sales tips and new products as well as tool and equipment auctions.
While Makro isn’t a conventional wholesaler, its focus on large-quantity lots make it a prime outlet for small food stores, retail shops and restaurants. Executives said it’s in the company’s interest to make its retail customers more competitive and adapt faster to customer behavior.
