Getting into the season’s spirit always begins with the Christmas pageant at the Fountain of Life Center with the children and their parents. This year the event at our target charity was on Tuesday, December 13th and, as we were still mourning for HM the late King, a lighted-candle ceremony was performed culminating with the singing of the King’s Anthem.
After that, Sisters Jiemjit and Joan welcomed everyone and thanked their benefactors. The performances then ensued with the nativity enactment by the children, which was followed by a variety of entertainment from visiting schools and benevolent organizations with more Christmas themes.
A feast of local delicacies, both scrumptious and sweet, was then served to be sure everyone would be sated before we segued to giving of the goodies and presents. Santa Claus this year was portrayed by Jesters’ Joake, who handed school bags to the children courtesy of the Jesters Care for Kids, while the parents picked up food packages donated by the Pattaya International Ladies Club (PILC), and Women with a Mission (WWM).
As ever, members of the Jesters MC Thailand also came with their families to join in with the giving. What a great way to get into the Christmas spirit!
