Superstar band Carabao helped the Pattaya Orphanage raise nearly a million baht at its annual charity concert.

Chonburi Deputy Gov. Phawat Lertmukhda opened the Oct. 8 Love & Care Concert at the Alcazar Theater with cabaret chief Pavin Petchtrakul presenting a donation of 100,000 baht to Orphanage Director Rev. Veera Pangrak.

Before Carabao took the stage, children from the orphanage entertained the 450,000 guests with music and dance. Then the band came on, performing all their big hits.

After the show, Carabao donated four guitars for a charity auction. That, combined with the 450,000 baht in ticket sales, helped push the day’s total to nearly a million baht.
