YALA, 31 July 2014 – The Yala’s fruit and livestock festival , now underway, is offering agricultural know-how to visitors.
Held under tight security, the event kicked off yesterday at a park in downtown Yala, where so many kinds of fruit and food were available at reasonable prices as well as for free tasting.
The Agriculture Extension Office also held sessions providing agricultural knowledge and tips for local residents. The highlight of the sessions is how to nurse the renowned Montong Durian, which fetches growers high prices in the market.
