The multi chambers of commerce networking event for August was hosted by the British Chamber (BCCT) and held at the stylish Siam@Siam Design hotel on Pattaya Second Road.

It’s been a long time since such an event was held at Siam@Siam and as a result many people were in attendance, filling to two adjoining rooms high up on an upper floor with stunning views across the city.

Free flow beers and wines as well as soft drinks were available and an array of succulent seafood dishes were prepared by the hotel’s chefs.

The event attracted four sponsors, Axcel Electronics, who hold Global patents for USB charging cables and a unique 2 in 1 tip, allowing the cable to Charge and Sync both Apple devices and Android devices to create a truly unique corporate gift experience.

Rugby School Thailand, which is due to open next month on the outskirts of Pattaya on 80-acres, were also on the list of sponsors. The school is a co-educational day & boarding school. Their partner school, Rugby School UK, is one of the oldest and most highly-regarded co-educational establishments in Britain.

Go General Outsourcing is a purpose built outsourcing company providing payroll outsourcing, tax compliance works, Web-based Employee Services and HR & benefit administration services.

And lastly ISS Facility Services (ISS), which is an integrated facility service that was founded in Copenhagen in 1901 including facility management, cleaning, security, support, property services.

Mark Bowling, director of the British Chamber of Commerce Thailand, stated “The event was particularly well attended with close to 200 guests, which was really pleasing to see with many new faces among them. Dmitry Chernyshev, the general manager of Siam @ Siam Design Hotel and his entire team had worked tirelessly to ensure the event went well and indeed the feedback from everyone I spoke to was very positive. Most notably the quality and quantity of the food and seafood bar was very much appreciated by all.”

In addition to a lucky draw for free room nights at Siam@Siam in Bangkok a lively duo of saxophone and bass kept the guests entertained.

Details of the next multi chamber event will be published in the Pattaya Mail.
