Pridiyathorn pleased with results of gov’t action on migrant-child labor control

Deputy Prime Minister ML Pridiyathorn Devakula expressed his satisfaction with the suppression of child labor and migrant workers in five Andaman provinces of Thailand.

His comment came after a follow-up meeting with governors of Phuket, Krabi, Phang-nga, Trang, and Ranong as well as provincial authorities.

He was also satisfied with the progress of budget disbursement for investment and other projects in the five provinces. He said the money would inject capital fund into the entire economic system.

Meanwhile, various contracts made between official units and the private sector have been carried out with considerable progress. Dhamrongdham Centers in these provinces also solved more than half of the complaints filed.
