BANGKOK, 16 July 2014 -The Ministry of Commerce is organizing the 2014 Organic and Natural Expo to promote organic products. Over 50,000 people are expected to attend, resulting in a cash flow of more than 15 million baht.
Mr. Boonyarith Kullayanamitr, the Inspector General of the Ministry of Commerce, said that the ministry is preparing to hold the 2014 Organic and Natural Expo over the four days 24th – 27th July, 2014 at Queen Sirikit National Convention Center to draw attention to the abilities of Thai organic farmers and entrepreneurs, and to promote the business to be more widely known in the international market.
The event features an Organic Symposium on July 25th, and an exhibition on organic agriculture covering production, the quality certification process, marketing and value increasing in the domestic and international markets. There will also be over 200 booths selling organic products and offering their services. It is estimated that more than 50,000 people will attend and generate cash flow of about 15 million baht.
