PHUKET, Thailand – Phuket Weather Conditions – Visitor Information. Airport access and local road conditions 26 October 2026.

The Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) advises visitors that heavy rainfall has caused temporary waterlogging on some roads in Phuket, which may affect local journeys. Phuket International Airport remains open and fully operational.

Passengers travelling to Phuket International Airport are advised to plan their journey to arrive 3–4 hours before their scheduled flight departure, allowing for possible road delays, and to check the latest flight information directly with their airline.

Local road information

Kamala Police Station has advised motorists to temporarily avoid the Kamala–Patong route, where waterlogging has affected sections of the road, particularly:

  • Phuket FantaSea junction to the Kamala 7-Eleven traffic lights, where only one right-hand lane is passable.
  • The bend near the entrance to Kamala Police Station.

Police officers are assisting with traffic management. Visitors travelling through these areas are encouraged to use alternative routes where available and avoid driving through waterlogged sections.
