CHONBURI, Thailand – Construction is progressing on the Sriracha toll plaza on Motorway 7 (M7) in Chonburi, with the facility scheduled to open fully in September 2027. Located at kilometre 93 in Sriracha district, the toll plaza is being developed alongside the Sriracha Motorway Service Centre, which is also under construction and is described by the Department of Highways as Thailand’s largest motorway service area.
The combined developments are intended to improve facilities for motorists travelling along the M7, a major route connecting Bangkok with Chonburi, Pattaya and Thailand’s eastern seaboard. The new service centre will provide a major roadside stop for motorists, while the toll plaza forms part of the motorway infrastructure serving traffic through the area. The Department of Highways has provided the latest construction update and photographs as work continues towards the planned opening.
