BANGKOK, Thailand – Dr Darin Phanthusak, Vice President of Tiffany’s Holding in Pattaya, has been recognised as one of Thailand’s 50 most influential personalities at the prestigious HOWE Awards 2026, held on October 20 at the Bangkok International Trade and Exhibition Centre (BITEC Bangna).

The honour was presented during HOWE Magazine’s 14th anniversary celebration, which brought together leading personalities from Thailand’s business, entertainment, cultural and social sectors to recognise outstanding achievements and meaningful contributions to society. The ceremony took place in Grand Hall 201–203, with an evening of presentations and celebrations honouring individuals and organisations whose achievements have made a positive impact on their respective industries and communities.

For Dr Darin, the recognition represented not only a significant personal achievement but also an opportunity to acknowledge the family values that have shaped her professional and personal life. In her acceptance speech, she paid a heartfelt tribute to her father, the late Senator Sutham Phanthusak, crediting him with instilling the principles and values that continue to guide her. Her tribute added a deeply personal dimension to the occasion, highlighting the importance of family influence, integrity and the passing of values from one generation to the next.

As Vice President of Tiffany’s Holding, Dr Darin represents one of Pattaya’s established business families, whose name has long been associated with the city’s entertainment and tourism industries. Her recognition at the national awards ceremony also brought attention to Pattaya’s contribution to Thailand’s wider business and cultural landscape.

The HOWE Awards have become an annual occasion recognising excellence across a broad spectrum of Thai society. This year’s anniversary celebration featured prominent business figures, entertainers and creative professionals, with awards highlighting both established achievements and contemporary talent. Beyond individual accomplishments, the event also drew attention to Thailand’s growing creative economy and the importance of connecting traditional cultural heritage with contemporary artistic and commercial expression.

Thai cultural identity, inherited knowledge and traditional craftsmanship continue to provide foundations for creative industries that generate economic opportunities, strengthen Thailand’s international reputation and introduce the country’s heritage to wider global audiences. These objectives are closely aligned with the Ministry of Culture’s broader mission to preserve and promote cultural resources while encouraging creativity, innovation and sustainable economic development.

For Pattaya, Dr Darin’s inclusion among the 50 influential personalities represents another moment of national recognition for a member of the city’s business community. The award also carries a personal legacy, linking her present achievements with the values and inspiration she received from her father, whose influence she acknowledged during one of the most memorable moments of the evening.
