PATTAYA, Thailand – Pattaya Beach will become a pathway of hope, inclusion and community spirit on Sunday, November 22, when children, people with disabilities, families, runners and supporters come together for Ray Run Pattaya 2026, a major charity event organised under the inspiring theme “Run for All, Race for Hope.”
Organised by the Father Ray Foundation in cooperation with Pattaya City and a broad network of community partners, the event is designed to be far more than a conventional road race. It will bring people of different ages and abilities together on the same course, promoting equality while raising vital funds for disadvantaged children and people with disabilities.
The event will take place at Pattaya Klang Beach, Central Pattaya, with participants able to choose from 1km, 3km and 5km walk/run distances, as well as a special 2.5km wheelchair event.
At the heart of Ray Run Pattaya is a simple but powerful message: sport should be open to everyone.

Running side by side
One of the distinctive features of Ray Run Pattaya is its Duo category, pairing a runner or walker with a participant with a disability.
For 1,000 baht, two people can take part together in any of the 1km, 3km or 5km distances – one runner or walker and one participant with a disability. Both receive race shirts, bib numbers and medals, while the participant with a disability also receives a commemorative gift.
Participants may nominate a family member, friend or other person with a disability to join them. Those who do not nominate a partner can have their participation paired with a person with a disability under the care of the Father Ray Foundation.
Visually impaired participants will be accompanied by guide runners throughout the course to ensure they can participate safely and confidently.Individual runners and walkers may also enter any of the three distances for 800 baht, receiving a race shirt, bib and medal.
Wheelchairs take their place on the course
Ensuring that the event truly lives up to its “Run for All” philosophy, Ray Run Pattaya will also feature a 2.5km Wheelchair Road Run.
The 1,000-baht Duo entry allows either one wheelchair participant and one accompanying person, or two wheelchair participants, to take part together. Elderly wheelchair users are also welcome to participate with a caregiver.
The wheelchair event is intended not merely as a separate category, but as a visible celebration of the ability, determination and dignity of people who are too often excluded from mainstream sporting activities.

Every step helps Father Ray
Proceeds and donations from Ray Run Pattaya 2026 will support the humanitarian work of the Father Ray Foundation, which for decades has provided care, education, vocational opportunities and support to disadvantaged children and people with disabilities.
The event seeks to use sport as a force for giving – creating an environment where children, people with disabilities and members of the wider community can exercise, participate and enjoy themselves together as equals. It also supports Pattaya’s ambition to develop as an inclusive Sport City, demonstrating that major community sporting activities can be designed so that no one is left behind.
For those who would like to support the cause but cannot participate in the walk or run, a 500-baht supporter registration is available. Supporters receive an official event shirt with free delivery, although this category does not include a race medal. A VIP package priced at 10,000 baht is also available, providing participation for 10 people in the walk/run or wheelchair categories. VIP contributions are eligible for a tax-deduction certificate.
A city united behind inclusion
Ray Run Pattaya 2026 is organised by the Father Ray Foundation together with Pattaya City, the Sports Association for the Disabled of Thailand under Royal Patronage, Lions Clubs International District 310C, the Eastern Chefs Association and Inspire Runner. The organisers hope the event will help build greater understanding between people with and without disabilities while encouraging exercise, friendship and social inclusion.
Medical teams and ambulances will be stationed along the route, and participants will be required to follow instructions from race officials, medical personnel and safety teams. Participants using wheelchairs or mobility aids will use designated areas of the course where required for their safety.
Above all, organisers are encouraging participants to approach the event in the spirit in which it was created – not simply as a competition, but as a day of friendship, compassion and mutual support.

Be a ray of hope
For the Father Ray Foundation, every kilometre covered on November 22 will represent more than a distance travelled.
Every runner who crosses the start line, every wheelchair rolling along the Pattaya beachfront, every volunteer offering a helping hand and every supporter making a contribution will become part of a collective effort to create opportunities for children and people with disabilities.
Against the familiar backdrop of Pattaya Beach, Ray Run Pattaya 2026 – “Run for All, Race for Hope” will demonstrate that sport has the power to bring a community together – and that hope shines brightest when everyone is given the opportunity to take part.
