PATTAYA, Thailand – Pattaya Deputy Mayor Wutthisak Rermkijakarn visits bedridden patients in Ban Krabok 33 community on October 15, delivering adult diapers and checking their needs under a 2026 support programme for vulnerable residents.
The initiative aims to ease household expenses and improve quality of life for people who require daily care or have difficulty controlling bladder or bowel functions. Four patients visited during the outreach already receive regular health monitoring and advice from village health volunteers and Pattaya Public Health and Environment Office staff.
Wutthisak said the visit also allowed officials to assess patients’ living conditions and identify additional assistance needed. Families caring for bedridden patients or elderly people who have not accessed government services can contact Pattaya’s Health Promotion Section to request support.
He also highlighted Pattaya’s free transport service for people with disabilities, older residents, bedridden patients and others who face difficulties travelling to medical appointments. Residents can contact the Health Promotion Section at 038-253209 during office hours or Pattaya Contact Center 1337, available 24 hours a day.
