King and Queen direct royal flood relief to affected Bangkok families

Privy Councilor Palakorn Suwanrath presents royal relief packages to flood-affected residents in Lat Krabang, following Their Majesties’ directive to support recovery.

BANGKOK, Thailand – Their Majesties the King and Queen have expressed concern for those affected by flooding and have directed agencies and Royal Volunteers to help residents return to normal life as quickly as possible. On October 4, 2026, Their Majesties instructed the Rajaprajanugroh Foundation under Royal Patronage to deliver 200 royal relief packages to flood-affected residents of the Rom Klao Housing Community in Lat Krabang District, Bangkok.


Privy Councilor Palakorn Suwanrath, President of the Rajaprajanugroh Foundation under Royal Patronage, led the foundation’s delegation in presenting the royal relief packages to residents to help alleviate hardship and offer moral support. Recipients expressed their gratitude for Their Majesties’ benevolence. From September 26 to October 4, 2026, the foundation delivered 10,000 royal relief packages and essential supplies to flood-affected residents in 19 Bangkok districts. Assistance included temporary tents, bedding, medical supplies, daily necessities, and relief packages for children.

The Foundation has also delivered an additional 2,000 royal relief packages to flood-affected residents in Pathum Thani and Samut Prakan provinces. This assistance reflects Their Majesties’ concern for those affected by flooding and their ongoing support for relief and recovery efforts. (NNT)
