Pattaya City and Immigration close gaps in tourist services and safety

PATTAYA, Thailand – Pattaya City and Chonburi Immigration are strengthening cooperation to improve tourist services, enhance public safety and support Pattaya’s development as a quality tourism destination.

Pattaya Mayor Poramet Ngampichet welcomed Chonburi Immigration Superintendent Pol. Col. Naphatphong Khositsuriyamanee and other officials at Pattaya City Hall on October 2. The Immigration delegation also visited to congratulate Mayor Poramet following his return to office.


The two sides discussed closer coordination in caring for and assisting tourists, including cooperation on public safety and city management. The aim is to build greater confidence among residents and visitors while ensuring smoother services for tourists.

Pattaya City said it would continue working with relevant agencies to improve city management and tourism services and maintain a safe, well-managed environment for visitors. The cooperation forms part of Pattaya’s efforts to develop the city as a quality and safe tourism destination in line with government policies.
