TOKYO, Japan – Her Royal Highness Princess Sirivannavari Nariratana Rajakanya has continued her preparations for the 20th Asian Games Aichi-Nagoya 2026 with a second day of dressage training with her horse, Boulevard, at JRA Equestrian Park in Tokyo. Her Royal Highness represents Thailand as a member of the national equestrian team. German coach Matthias Rath supervised the session, with particular emphasis on smooth, continuous transitions, precise riding aids, and communication between rider and horse to achieve accurate and harmonious movement.
Dressage demands close coordination between rider and horse, integrating rhythm, precision, concentration, balance, and subtle communication in every performance. Her Royal Highness is scheduled to compete in dressage on September 25, 2026, with Thai national team riders Chalermcharn Yotviriyapanit, Chanjanok Klara Ruecker, and Nynn Puttisombat. The team will participate in the Prix St. Georges event under International Equestrian Federation (FEI) standards. Her Royal Highness and Boulevard have previously competed internationally, including at the 2025 FEI Asian Championships in Pattaya, where Thailand won the team dressage gold medal. (NNT)
