The operation was carried out under the city’s ongoing policy of keeping Pattaya clean, orderly and safe for everyone. Officials collected containers that had been placed along the roadside near Pattaya Beach and loaded them onto a municipal vehicle. Authorities said the action was aimed at maintaining cleanliness and keeping public areas free of items placed without permission.
Rather than issuing fines during the latest operation, officers reportedly warned those responsible and removed the containers. The city’s message was that everyone should respect shared public space and avoid using roadsides or other public areas for personal purposes. The campaign reflects Pattaya City’s continuing efforts to improve order in busy public areas, particularly along the beachfront where roads, pavements and public spaces are shared by residents, tourists, businesses and other road users.
The city urged people who see problems involving public spaces to report them through the Pattaya City hotline at 1337. The warning is straightforward: public areas belong to everyone. Keeping them clean and unobstructed requires residents and businesses to respect the same rules and avoid treating shared spaces as extensions of private property.
