PATTAYA, Thailand — Pattaya police rescued four people, including three Indian nationals and a Thai woman, after they became trapped inside an elevator at a pool villa early Tuesday morning. At about 5:30 a.m., officers from Pattaya Police Station received a request for assistance at Buakhao Villa and immediately rushed to the scene, coordinating with a rescue team. The four passengers were successfully freed from the elevator and brought to safety.
The incident highlights Pattaya police’s role in responding around the clock to calls for assistance, including situations that may not initially appear serious but can leave residents and tourists in distress. Under Pattaya Police Station superintendent Pol. Col. Anek Srathongyou, officers have been urged to remain ready to respond and assist both local residents and foreign visitors whenever needed, particularly in emergency situations.
