PATTAYA, Thailand – Preparations are gathering momentum for the Vibrant Club Workshop, a two-day Rotary programme designed to inspire clubs with fresh ideas and practical strategies for becoming more dynamic, inclusive and impactful.
The workshop will be held at Ocean Marina Resort Pattaya Jomtien on September 12–13, 2026, bringing Rotarians together for two days of learning, collaboration, fellowship and inspiration.
Members of the organising committee from the Rotary Club of Utapao International recently returned to the resort for another site inspection on August 22. They met with Samuchaya “Sammy” Chanlamoon, Senior Sales Manager, to review arrangements, fine-tune the programme and ensure that every detail is in place for the visiting Rotarians and their families.
An important part of the visit was a special food-tasting dinner, giving the organising team an opportunity to sample the resort’s cuisine and select menus for the lunches and dinners that will be served throughout the event.
During the dinner, Sammy assured the Rotarians that Ocean Marina Resort would deliver cuisine and service of the highest quality. The resort team is committed to providing an enjoyable dining experience, with carefully prepared dishes, professional service and menus designed to satisfy delegates and their families after a full day of activities.
The latest inspection follows an earlier visit by the organising committee, when members met with General Manager Cyril Mas to discuss the workshop and preparations for hosting the event.
The Vibrant Club Workshop has been designed as an interactive programme, rather than simply a series of presentations. Participants will explore innovative approaches to key areas of Rotary, including Membership, The Rotary Foundation, Public Image and Engagement.
The objective is to give Rotary clubs practical ideas they can take home and put into action — helping clubs not only survive in a changing world but develop stronger teams, attract and retain members and increase their impact in their communities.
Conducted in both Thai and English, the two-day workshop will encourage Rotarians to collaborate, share successful experiences and exchange ideas about what it means to be a truly vibrant Rotary club today.
The programme will extend beyond the workshop room, with participants also enjoying fellowship activities and a yachting experience on Pattaya Bay. The event will culminate in the Installation Night of the Rotary Club of Utapao International, providing delegates with another opportunity to celebrate Rotary fellowship and friendship.
For the organising committee, the venue inspection and food tasting were important final steps in ensuring that delegates receive a memorable experience from the moment they arrive.
With the combination of practical Rotary knowledge, international fellowship, tourism experiences and quality hospitality, the Vibrant Club Workshop promises to be an exciting gathering for Rotarians looking to bring renewed energy and fresh ideas to their clubs.
