Thai influencer Kiticha “Mookmuay” reports two luxury watches worth 610,000 baht stolen from her checked luggage during a flight to Krabi.

BANGKOK, Thailand – A Thai social media influencer has sought legal assistance after two luxury watches worth a combined 610,000 baht (approx. $18,400) were stolen from her checked baggage during a domestic flight. Kiticha “Mookmuay”, 29, who has over four million followers, and her partner reported the incident to the Foundation Campaigning to Reclaim Social Justice on Monday, citing a lack of progress in the police investigation.

The pair boarded a flight from Suvarnabhumi Airport to Krabi on August 21. Upon arrival at Krabi Airport, they found their luggage zipper broken and the bag searched. Two timepieces—a diamond-set Cartier watch valued at 470,000 baht and another watch worth 140,000 baht—were missing.

Police reports were filed at both Suvarnabhumi and Nuea Khlong police stations, but no suspects have been identified. Airport officials said the matter remains under investigation. Ronnarong Kaewpetch, head of the foundation, said he plans to submit the case to the Crime Suppression Division to expedite proceedings, noting that airport theft carries a prison sentence of one to five years.
