PHUKET, Thailand – A video showing 16-year-old Thai youth musician Nene Royal stepping in to stop a confrontation between foreign tourists while performing at Naka Market in Phuket has captured attention online. The incident, shared on Aug. 29 by the page of former politician Satit Pitutecha, shows Nene, whose real name is Rattikarn Amloy, performing when two foreign spectators appeared to be on the verge of fighting.

Rather than ignoring the confrontation, Nene firmly told them to stop, warning that she would end her performance if the argument continued. When one foreign fan asked her to keep playing, Nene agreed to perform one final song. The post praised the young performer for showing both strength and kindness, describing her as “strong, powerful, cute, decisive and gentle” all at once.

Nene has gained recognition as a young Phuket artist and became widely known after appearing on America’s Got Talent. The latest video offers another glimpse of her personality away from the international stage, showing a teenager confidently taking control of an unexpected situation while keeping her performance going.
