BANGKOK, Thailand – Suvarnabhumi Airport has postponed planned repairs to expansion joints on the elevated roads leading to and from the passenger terminal to avoid disrupting travel during the upcoming high season. The repair work was originally scheduled from Aug. 31, 2026, to April 7, 2027. The airport decided to delay the project because passenger numbers and traffic are expected to increase during the tourism high season.
From Aug. 31 onward, there will be no traffic closures or diversions on the elevated roads as previously announced. Passengers and other airport users can continue to access the terminal normally. Suvarnabhumi Airport will announce a new repair schedule once the timing has been finalized and apologized for any inconvenience.
