PATTAYA, Thailand – A nearly 4-metre-long python gave staff at a car wash on Soi Thepprasit 17 a frightening surprise after it was discovered hiding in the backyard area early Sunday morning.
At around 7:25 a.m. on August 23, Pattaya’s Jomtien Fire Station dispatched inspection vehicle 410 and officers to E.C. Car Wash after receiving a report of the large snake inside the premises.
The python was difficult to spot because its coloring and markings blended smoothly with the surrounding backyard vegetation and ground, allowing it to remain concealed until it was noticed.
Firefighters carefully captured the snake and removed it from the property without reported injuries. Residents and businesses are reminded to stay alert for snakes hiding around gardens, backyards and other quiet areas, particularly during the rainy season.
