BANGKOK, Thailand — Chao Phraya Express Boat Co. will increase fares by 1 baht across all passenger boat services from Friday, August 21, citing rising diesel fuel costs. The company operates passenger services along the Chao Phraya River between Pak Kret and Wat Rajsingkorn.

Under the new rates, Orange Flag boats operating between Nonthaburi and Wat Rajsingkorn will cost 18 baht, up from 17 baht for the full route. Yellow Flag boats between Nonthaburi and Sathorn will increase from 22 baht to 23 baht.

Green-Yellow Flag services will also increase by 1 baht. The Pak Kret–Nonthaburi fare will rise from 15 baht to 16 baht, while the Nonthaburi–Sathorn fare will increase from 22 baht to 23 baht. The full Pak Kret–Sathorn journey will rise from 34 baht to 35 baht.

Red Flag air-conditioned boats operating between Nonthaburi and Sathorn will increase from 31 baht to 32 baht.
