SYDNEY, Australia – Thai Prime Minister Anutin Charnvirakul is on his way to Auckland, kicking off an official visit to New Zealand from 20–22 August. And there’s no time to waste once he arrives. First on the agenda: meeting with New Zealand’s private sector to open new doors for trade and investment between our two nations.
The diplomacy continues on 21 August with an official welcome ceremony, followed by bilateral talks with New Zealand Prime Minister Christopher Luxon. The two leaders will then face the press together before sitting down for a luncheon in the Prime Minister’s honor. Later, he’ll head to aircraft manufacturer NZAero to explore what’s next for aviation cooperation between Thailand and New Zealand. It’s a packed few days ahead, but the goal is simple: stronger ties, new opportunities, and real benefits for the Thai people. (PRD)
