PATTAYA, Thailand – A Pattaya pharmacist is appealing for the public’s help after burglars broke into her pharmacy in the early hours of the morning, stealing cash, computer equipment and even the store’s CCTV cameras. The owner is now offering a 5,000-baht reward and a free Botox treatment for information leading to the suspects’ arrest.

At around 6 p.m. on August 4, pharmacist Sornsalak Promphamon, 31, from Doctor James Pharmacy at Rattanakorn Market in Nongprue, East Pattaya, spoke to reporters after the break-in and released CCTV footage in the hope of identifying the culprits. According to the footage, the burglary occurred at approximately 3:58 a.m., when two men approached the front of the pharmacy. The suspects allegedly forced open the glass entrance door before entering the premises. Once inside, one of the intruders unplugged the pharmacy’s CCTV recording system to prevent further footage from being captured. The pair then searched the store and removed valuable items before fleeing.

The stolen property included a computer and CPU, a printer, around 4,000 baht in cash from the register, and the pharmacy’s indoor CCTV cameras, which investigators believe were taken in an attempt to destroy evidence. Although the internal surveillance system was disabled, an exterior security camera continued recording and captured clear images of the suspects approaching and forcing their way into the pharmacy. One suspect was seen wearing a black shirt with a short haircut. The footage has been handed over to investigators.

The victim has filed a complaint with investigators at Pattaya Police Station, who are reviewing CCTV footage from surrounding areas in an effort to identify the suspects and trace their escape route.

To encourage public assistance, the pharmacy owner is offering a 5,000-baht cash reward along with a free Botox treatment to anyone whose information leads to the arrest of those responsible.

Anyone with information is urged to contact the pharmacy at 061-895-7895.
