Pattaya Tourist Police help mediate a misunderstanding between a Jordanian tourist and a shop representative, turning a dispute into smiles and mutual understanding.

PATTAYA, Thailand – A misunderstanding over the price of a product ended with apologies and smiles after Pattaya Tourist Police stepped in to mediate between a Jordanian tourist and a shop representative on Pattaya Second Road. The incident took place at around 5 p.m. on Aug. 6, when Pattaya Tourist Police and the Chonburi Tourist Assistance Centre were called to help resolve a disagreement involving a foreign visitor and a shop caretaker.

Officers listened to both sides, clarified the misunderstanding and helped both parties reach a mutual understanding. The situation ended peacefully, with both sides apologizing to each other.



Authorities said the case reflects the importance of communication and cooperation between tourists, local businesses and officials in maintaining Pattaya’s image as a friendly and welcoming international destination.
