Thai Airways has postponed the rollout of new Royal Orchid Plus membership rules, with existing eligibility criteria and member status remaining unchanged until further notice.

BANGKOK, Thailand – Thai Airways has postponed the introduction of new eligibility criteria for its Royal Orchid Plus frequent flyer program, which had been scheduled to take effect on August 5. The airline said the current Royal Orchid Plus membership rules will remain in force until further notice, and the delay will not affect members’ existing status.

Thai Airways had planned to introduce revised membership qualification criteria and additional benefits under the updated program. However, the airline said it has decided to defer the rollout and will announce a new implementation date through its official communication channels.

Passengers whose travel plans may be affected by the postponement are advised to contact the THAI Contact Center at +66 2 356 1111. The airline said it will review each case individually and provide appropriate assistance where necessary. Thai Airways thanked Royal Orchid Plus members for their continued trust, feedback, and support, saying the comments received will help strengthen and improve the loyalty program for the long term.
