PATTAYA, Thailand – Strong winds and heavy rain brought down a large corrugated metal construction fence in Jomtien on July 24, temporarily blocking traffic along Chaiyapruek 1 Soi 2, on the connecting road to Wat Boon Kanjanaram Soi 3. Jomtien municipal enforcement officers responded to the scene after the entire fence panel collapsed across the roadway, creating a hazard for motorists.

Officials immediately coordinated with the city’s Engineering Department and the responsible contractor to remove the fallen fencing and reopen the road to normal traffic. The incident occurred during Friday’s severe monsoon weather, which brought strong winds and flooding to several parts of Pattaya.

City officials and contractors quickly cleared the fallen fence and reopened the road to motorists.
