
PATTAYA, Thailand – A group of Pattaya officials and speedboat operators rushed to rescue an Indian tourist who became exhausted while swimming and was unable to make his way back to shore on July 22. Pattaya municipal officers, special affairs staff and local speedboat operators responded quickly after receiving reports that the tourist was struggling in the water. The rescue team reached the visitor in time and safely brought him back to shore. The tourist was reported to be safe following the incident.
Pattaya City thanked the boat operators and members of the public who assisted during the emergency, saying their quick cooperation helped prevent a more serious situation. Officials reminded visitors to take extra care when swimming, especially during periods of strong currents or changing sea conditions.
