Kaset Thai 2026 has opened in Chiang Mai, bringing together farmers, cooperatives, and consumers to showcase agricultural products, innovation, and local “Hero Products” from across the region.

CHIANG MAI, Thailand – Chiang Mai has become the first province to host Kaset Thai 2026, a nationwide agricultural fair organized by the Ministry of Agriculture and Cooperatives to expand market opportunities for farmers and connect them directly with consumers. Deputy Agriculture and Cooperatives Minister Piyarat Tiyapairat launched the event at Chaloem Phrakiat Park, operated by the Chiang Mai Provincial Administrative Organization. She said the fair helps increase the value of agricultural products, improve farmers’ incomes, reduce trade disparities, and encourage the adoption of technology, innovation, and digital marketing. The event also promotes provincial “Hero Products” and supports the development of agricultural brands.

In addition to expanding distribution through cooperatives, the fair creates new commercial opportunities for local products. During the opening ceremony, Piyarat presented official approval for the establishment of the Chiang Mai Provincial Administrative Organization Savings Cooperative. Kaset Thai 2026 runs until July 26 and features a wide range of activities, including direct sales of agricultural products by farmers, exhibitions on agricultural technology and innovation, discussion forums, training sessions, performances by the Kaset Thai country music band, the Miss Queen Kaset Thai pageant, and nightly concerts.
