An American tourist thanks Pattaya Tourist Police after receiving assistance and legal guidance following an alleged domestic violence incident involving his girlfriend.

PATTAYA, Thailand – Tourist Police in Pattaya are reminding visitors that they are available to help with more than just emergencies, offering assistance, advice, and support for a wide range of situations that travelers may face. An American tourist recently turned to Pattaya Tourist Police after reporting that he had been assaulted by his girlfriend and threatened with a weapon, leaving him fearful for his personal safety and the security of his belongings. Tourist Police officers, together with staff from the Tourist Assistance Center (TAC), listened to the tourist’s concerns and provided guidance on the legal process, including how to file a formal complaint. They also coordinated with the relevant authorities to ensure he received appropriate assistance in accordance with Thai law.



After receiving support, the tourist expressed his gratitude to the officers for their professionalism, compassion, and prompt assistance during a difficult situation.
