Chonburi officials coordinate security efforts on industrial waste management and foreign worker-related challenges during a provincial meeting.

PATTAYA, Thailand – Chonburi immigration officials joined a provincial security meeting aimed at strengthening cooperation on environmental and social security issues, including the management of hazardous industrial waste and preparedness for potential threats involving foreign workers and foreign nationals. The meeting was held on July 7, at Chonburi Provincial Hall, with Lt. Gen. Wutthaya Jantamas, Director of the Internal Security Operations Command’s Security Coordination Bureau, serving as chairman.



Chonburi Immigration Police Chief Pol. Col. Naphatphong Khositsuriyamanee assigned Deputy Chief Pol. Lt. Col. Kawinwatch Ariyasuriwong to attend the meeting on behalf of the Immigration Office.

The session focused on integrating security mechanisms among relevant agencies to address environmental concerns, particularly toxic industrial waste problems, while improving readiness to respond to emerging security challenges linked to migrant labor and foreign residents.

Officials discussed cooperation between government agencies to enhance monitoring, information sharing and preventive measures to maintain public safety and social stability across Chonburi province.
