
BANGKOK, Thailand – The Embassy of the Arab Republic of Egypt in Thailand hosted a grand celebration marking the 74th anniversary of Egypt’s July 23 Revolution National Day. The celebration highlighted the strong and longstanding ties between Egypt and Thailand. The event was attended by Prime Minister Anutin Charnvirakul as the guest of honor, alongside Director-General of the Public Relations Department Sudruetai Lertkasem and distinguished guests from the diplomatic, government, and business sectors.
A major highlight of the evening was a special exhibition titled “Egyptian Ancient Civilization through the Art of Papyrus,” which showcased Egypt’s rich cultural heritage and ancient artistic traditions. Ambassador of the Arab Republic of Egypt to Thailand H.E. Hala Youssef Ahmed Ragab expressed appreciation for the warm relations and continued cooperation between the two countries.
The ambassador noted that recent developments, including the BRICS meeting and the Eighth Round of Political Consultations held in Cairo, reflected the shared commitment of both nations to deepen diplomatic and economic engagement. Thailand and Egypt are also looking to expand cooperation in trade, tourism, and investment while promoting closer people-to-people connections and broader collaboration in the years ahead.
