SRIRACHA, Thailand – A large-scale Chinese-invested mixed-use development has emerged in Sriracha, Chonburi, featuring a fully integrated commercial hub with shops, restaurants, and construction material outlets spread across more than 100 rai of land. The project, located near a reservoir area along the Huai Prap–Pong Sakae road in Moo 3, Bo Win subdistrict, Sri Racha district, has attracted attention for its scale and its clear focus on serving the growing Chinese business and residential community in Thailand’s Eastern Economic Corridor. The development features numerous businesses operated under Chinese investment, including high-end Chinese restaurants, noodle shops, construction supply stores, and a large supermarket offering imported goods from China. Many products on sale are labeled exclusively in Chinese, with Thai signage appearing only in limited sections.
Signage throughout the complex is predominantly in Chinese, including rental advertisements for commercial spaces, indicating strong internal demand for Chinese-operated businesses within the area. A large number of foreign workers, including Chinese and Myanmar nationals, were observed operating within the premises, suggesting the site is designed to support both business activity and the workforce connected to nearby industrial zones in Chonburi and Rayong. The development reflects the continued expansion of foreign investment in Thailand’s Eastern Economic Corridor, where industrial growth has driven demand for supporting commercial infrastructure and services.
