Emergency crews respond to a power line fire in front of Sukawadee in Pattaya’s Naklua area, successfully containing the blaze early in the morning.

PATTAYA, Thailand – Authorities in Pattaya swiftly contained a fire involving electrical power lines in front of Sukawadee in Naklua on the morning of June 21, 2026, preventing the blaze from spreading and avoiding any injuries or wider damage. At around 7.10 a.m., the City of Pattaya Disaster Prevention and Mitigation Unit, Naklua branch, deployed response vehicle No. 6 along with emergency personnel after receiving reports of a fire in the area.



Upon arrival, officers worked quickly to bring the situation under control, successfully extinguishing the fire before it could spread to nearby structures or cause additional hazards. No injuries or property damage were reported. After the situation was stabilized, officials coordinated with the Provincial Electricity Authority to inspect, repair, and restore the affected power lines to prevent recurrence and ensure public safety for road users. Pattaya City officials confirmed that emergency response teams remain on standby 24 hours a day as part of ongoing disaster prevention and public safety measures across the city.
