Chulalongkorn University remains Thailand’s top university, ranking 212th globally and among ASEAN’s Top 10 institutions.
BANGKOK, Thailand – Chulalongkorn University has been ranked among the Top 10 universities in ASEAN and remains the only Thai university in this group, according to the QS World University Rankings (WUR) 2027, officially announced on June 18. The university also retained its position as Thailand’s No. 1 university for the 18th consecutive year and was ranked 212th globally. Chulalongkorn University also placed among the world’s Top 100 in Academic Reputation and Employment Outcomes.
The QS WUR 2027 ranked more than 1,500 higher education institutions worldwide. The assessment is based on several weighted indicators, including Academic Reputation, Citations per Faculty, Employer Reputation, Employment Outcomes, Faculty Student Ratio, International Faculty Ratio, International Research Network, International Student Ratio, and Sustainability. This year, Chulalongkorn University improved its scores in Academic Reputation, Sustainability, International Research Network, and Faculty Student Ratio. The result reflects Chulalongkorn University’s internationally recognized academic reputation, research development, and commitment to producing high-quality graduates who are recognized at the global level.
