Ministry of Finance will open registration for the Thai Chuay Thai Plus co-payment program from May 25–29, offering support for up to 30 million eligible people as the government seeks to ease living costs and help small businesses cope with inflation.

BANGKOK, Thailand – The Ministry of Finance confirmed on Friday its readiness to launch registration for the “Thai Chuay Thai Plus” co-payment scheme on May 25, aimed at easing the cost of living and supporting small businesses. Winit Wisetsuwannaphum, ministry spokesperson, said up to 30 million eligible recipients can register under the 60/40 co-payment model. Registration will be open daily from 6:00 a.m. starting May 25 through May 29.

The spokesperson stated that eligible applicants must be at least 18 years old and not currently enrolled in the state welfare card system. He emphasized that the program is designed to sustain public purchasing power and support small entrepreneurs amid high fuel prices and inflation, rather than serving as a broader economic stimulus.
